Beyond the Home is a documentary photo project by Taras Ibragimov and Rimma Mareychenko, produced together with volunteers of humanitarian mission Proliska.
Set in the frontline city of Kostiantynivka, the series documents the evacuation of children and families from war-affected areas of eastern Ukraine. Shot through the windows of evacuation vehicles and in fleeting moments of departure, the photographs capture the fragile boundary between safety and loss.
Through the lens of human presence in motion — hands holding, eyes turned away, faces reflected in glass — the project reveals how home becomes both a memory and a horizon. Beyond the Home is a visual testament to displacement, endurance, and the quiet dignity of those who must leave everything behind and try to start from the very beginning.
